William Baker, Historical Revisionist

A strange, combative interview with a fellow who is "an expert in Christian apologetics" and the author of the book pictured above. He has some strange ideas about Jews, Zionism, and the Israeli question in the Middle East. It's our faithful friend Carolyn who pegs Mr. Baker, the guest, as a historical revisionist. Another faithful friend, Tom from Lutz, calls in to exploit a passing mention of Martin Luther King.

Col. Jack Burke

A discussion with Col. Jack Burke, a military expert, who has a long and fairly wonky discussion with Bob about military policy and strategy; weaponry, nuclear and otherwise; the arms industry; and various aspects of the Cold War. The program is then interrupted by President Reagan's Oval Office speech about Iran-Contra (not on the tape), after which Bob comes back to review the speech and take calls. It gets pretty heated.

Bible Debate

An epic discussion of the Bible with Bob holding court against two professors from Clearwater Christian College. It's not one of the more fiery religious debates Bob's so well known for, but a surprisingly scholarly and in-depth debate of Biblical text, history, geography, and interpretation. The most contentious moment comes not in their conversation, but a call from one of Bob's favorite callers, Tom from Lutz.
